~
Since moving here, I've woken up consistently by 8am every morning, without an alarm clock or Annie needing to go potty. It's so easy to wake up for some reason.
One of the unexpected benefits of being here is ... I'm able to soak up the sun. Those who know me, know what a big deal this is. The doctor in Idaho had prescribed mega doses of Vitamin D, which I couldn't afford at 4 pills for $20.00 and Medicare/Medicaid didn't pay. Vitamin D is the sunshine vitamin, and is currently the latest cure-some (as opposed to cure-all).
When I take Annie out for the first potty of the day around 8am, we end up staying outside for a couple of hours because it's just so nice to be outside and/or she's having so much fun playing in the dog park. We usually get back about 10am, and unpack/decorate/clean house for another couple of hours. Then it's naptime. In the sun!
The breeze makes the curtain billow in and out, and because I'm numb, I can't feel it against my skin. It is strangely comforting, like the feeling of having a lightweight blanket on me. Which is also thing MS has robbed from me - not being able to wrap up in a blanket when it's cold, because I either overheat, or the blanket just plain hurts my skin.
So we all take a nap. The cats too, are not bothered with the curtain billowing back and forth over them.
Best regards,
