I LOVE, Love, love this place. The apartment is perfect, despite it's lack of more footage. I actually cooked for myself last night - something I very rarely do. I realized that I felt "worth" cooking something healthy for...
This is the view from my bed.
Isn't that sad? I haven't quite got my bearings yet, but I think this is facing west. Tomorrow I'll take a picture of my nap spot. Cause I take naps now. Which is different than staying in bed all day like I did in Idaho.
Below is what every well-heeled disabled person in San Francisco can't do without. I discovered the need when I walked to the Safeway store, which, on the map looks like it's about 6 blocks away. Nope. More like 16 blocks. I walked all the way there to buy cat litter... and it wasn't till I got there that I realized I'd have to carry it back.
Tomorrow I will post pictures of the building and grounds. With Annie. The other day was Food Bank day, and I took Annie with me to sign up. The food bank comes to the building. One lady asked me to take Annie back home. I asked her why, and she said "Cause there's people here". Uh. Okay. I told her that I'd be keeping Annie with me, and she wouldn't disturb anyone, tyvm. The attitude toward her shocks me - a lady at Safeway followed me around for a good 10 minutes, cursing me and Annie, because Annie had smelled a cereal box! She wen t on and on, saying she worked for the Health Department, and she looked me up and down, and then said I didn't need no damn dog. I told her that she should be glad she didn't need a service animal, and where exactly did she work? I seriously considered calling her boss, because I couldn't believe how nasty she was!
This is Annie all blissed out from chasing the tennis ball, and meeting a whole bunch of new doggie friends. If I were interested in a relationship again.... the dog park is the way to go - there are millions of guys out there admiring my dog.
Best regards,

Laurie, Annie is so cute, how could anyone say anything bad or mean about her, is beyond my understanding being a dog lover I will always side with the dog of course. Your place looks great and the view so nice. Sounds and looks like your in a better place there Annie looks so happy.
You do have a nice view! As for Annie an economic service dog vest tends to shut em up more.
Sounds like you're making yourself at home!!! So great! And now you have the mission of educating stupid people about service animals. It sounds so wrong that people in a large city like that still are not educated about service animals. arg. Loves!!
She does wear a vest when she's inside public places. I don't make her wear it when it's playtime at the park. This lady was basically calling me out on Annie cause I don't LOOK disabled.
